Shipping Policy

We ship anywhere in the United States, within 24 hours of receiving your order.  We ship via Fedex Ground which can take up to 6 business days from day of pickup to delivery depending upon destination. 

If you have an urgent delivery requirement, please call us and we will do what we can to meet your need for a rush order. 

(We are unable to ship to PO Boxes.)

In the unlikely event that an item you ordered is temporarily out of stock, you will be informed on your email invoice as backordered.

You will not be billed until your product ships.

Certificate of Tax Exemption

Currently customers shipping bags to a California location must pay local and state sales tax.  If you are a reseller and have a valid reason to be exempt from this tax you may fill out and fax to us a Certificate of Exemption, and the tax will be removed from your bill.  You must have a Certificate of Exemption on file with us and you must notify us via email to take advantage of the exemption.

To fax a certificate to us CLICK HERE and a window will open with the Certificate of Exemption.  Using your Browser Print command, printout the certificate.  Fill it out completely, Sign it, and Fax it to the FAX number at the top of the certificate.  We will put the certificate on file.  When you purchase product from us simply notify us by the email and we will remove the tax from you purchase price.

Return Policy

Call 1-866-296-7130 for refunds or replacements. The Sales Department will provide a Return Authorization Number (RMA #), which must accompany the returned product. All non-defective returned items must be in saleable condition. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges associated with the return of product.

Navigation & Product Selection Summary

Step (1) Navigation Click on the product groupings that interest you, that will move you towards a Product List Page where you can select products for purchase as well as view details on the products.

Step (2) Product Selection From any Product List Page: Select the products you want by checking the [ ]check-box shown under the blue heading 'select' to the right of each product line. Next type in the quantity desired. A quantity of 1 will automatically be placed in the quantity field when you click the [ ]check-box next to it.

To add these selections to the shopping cart, click the button

You will be brought to the shopping chart showing the items selected.

Buying from us is designed to be easy. We offer three simple and intuitive ways to navigate to our Product List Pages, by using a menu, by clicking on pictures, or by using our Quick Color Search.  You'll find that your personal favorite will be your fastest way to order.

Navigation Details

The menu to the left has 6 categories. We provide 4 types of shopping bags and 2 types of merchandise bags.

If you click on any of these 6 categories you will see a further breakdown based on size and color choices for each.  Plain bags, both shopping and merchandise bags (made of brown kraft paper and white paper) are grouped together. Colors are also grouped together for each style of bag.

EXAMPLE 1: - Menu & Images

Start out on the home page at www.DiscountShoppingBags.com.

Click on PAPER BAGS (either the words below the blue people above the menu or the image showing paper bags with the text below it.

You have now entered the store, where the right side of the screen is now showing the 6 categories as images grouped in two rows of 3.

Next either click on the menu [Shopping Bags – Plain] or click on the [Plain Shopping Bags] icon, the first to the left. You will notice that the right side of the screen changed to show the two categories under [Shopping Bags – Plain], the categories are Kraft Shopping Bags and White Shopping Bags.  You'll also notice that the menu has changed showing Kraft and White as selections under ( Shopping Bags - Plain in the menu. )

Next Click on Kraft in the menu or the image.
You'll notice that the right side has now become a Product List Page, showing the actual products for sale.

You will also notice a Size Chart to help visually find the right size bag for you. Each bag shown has a number below it; the Size #.  Use that number to find the actual measurements in inches with the blue and yellow table.

Next Click on the button , located to the right side of any products without a color, like kraft and white bags. Those with color will show a color swatch like this , that is until you move your mouse over it. At which time it becomes

This will open a product info window for the product, showing the bag name, type and color. A color swatch for those bags with color and a sample of the bag shape are seen below this. Under the white line we list out the number of bags for each case, the case price and we break down the cost per bag for you. At the bottom, we list bag size uses and highlights as well as manufacturing details.

Next Click on the button . You will notice the window will close and you will be brought back to the Product List Page. Notice your product has been selected (a check mark under the selected column) and a quantity of 1 has been added to the Qty field. If you didn't want to choose the item when you left the info window, you would have just closed the info window by simply clicking the button instead.

Now on the Product List Page, click on the
[ ]check-box of any product that is not checked. Notice the Qty field automatically filled in with a number 1 and the [ ]check-box is now checked. Repeat this for additional products on this page. Change the Qty of your selection to 3 by clicking into the box, highlighting the number 1, press delete and type the number three.

Next Click on the button on the upper right of the Product List Page.

This will add all of the selected items to your shopping cart at one time and bring you to your shopping cart window.

From here, clickto proceed to the billing and shipping sections.

EXAMPLE 2: - Menu & Images

Click on the menu item ( Shopping Bags - Matte Colors ), shown just under PAPER BAGS.

You'll notice that the right side of the screen is showing 3 size categories:

You'll also notice that the menu has changed, listing the three for-mentioned sizes under the menu item ( Shopping Bags - Matte Colors )

Next click on the menu item 8 X 5 X 10 or click on the image of the green shopping bag with text 8 X 5 X 10 shown above it.

You'll notice that the right side has now become a Product List Page, showing the actual products for sale.

You'll also notice that the button , shown after each product, is now a color swatch showing the products color.

Clicking on this color swatch will open the info window for the product details. (See Navigation EXAMPLE 1 above)

Next Click on the [ ]check-box for any product (marked select) notice the Qty field automatically filled in with a number 1 and the [ ]check-box is now checked. Repeat this for additional products on this page. Change the Qty of a selection to 2.

Next Click on the button located inn the upper right side of the list of products.

This will add all of these items to your shopping cart at one time and bring you to your shopping cart window.

From here, click to proceed to the billing and shipping sections.

EXAMPLE 3 – Search

Start anywhere on the site and type YELLOW into the [Quick Color Search] box to the left of the SEARCH button on the top of any page.

Next,click the button .

You'll be brought to a Product List Page showing all the bags with a color of yellow in them
